    Ankylosing Spondylitis is pain that appears to come from nowhere, you can't remember doing anything to cause this much pain. It may involve morning stiffness and tightness, often occurs in the major muscle groups such as abdominal, gluteus maximus, hamstrings and quadriceps. You may experience back pain where the stiffness get worse with rest, so you may find the pain worse in the morning, just when you want to get your day started.
